The Trinity Knot was first created on the Book of Kells an illuminated manuscript Gospel book in Latin. Monks would spend from dusk to dawn illustrating figures of humans, animals and mythical beasts, together with Celtic Knots and interlacing patterns in vibrant colours, illustrating the gospel. The Celtic/Trinity Knot reflects the convergence of mind, body and spirit.
